Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem
Whatever Nicholas Kirkwood touches seems to turn in to gold, it seems, even when the object in question is a plain and brutish-looking hiking boot . This glorious, abstract patterned pair is part of the designer's current collaboration with Erdem, which has resulted in some truly amazing styles. The boots themselves are leather with a printed silk upper, set off by bright purple laces. We love the tractor-sole heels and if it weren't for their supreme beauty and value, could probably manage a medium-sized hike actually wearing them.
